The hotel can be reached on foot from the main station in about 10 minutes. Alternatively, by bus with line A (bus station Regensburg HBF at Platform E) to the bus stop Regensburg Domplatz.

Travel and Transportation

The city of Regensburg can be reached from two airports: from Flughafen München "Franz Joseph Strauß" and Flughafen Nürnberg "Albrecht Dürer":

  • Munich airport is directly connected with Regensburg central station (Hauptbahnhof) by an hourly regional train (RE).
  • From Nürnberg Airport, there is a subway shuttle (U-Bahn) every 10 minutes to Nürnberg main station and from there a regional train (RE) connects to Regensburg Hauptbahnhof.

Dinner and Diet

The official dinner for the speakers and all interested will be organized for the evening of the 13th February, after the public lecture by Prof Rubina Raja. An informal dinner will take place on 14th February after the conclusion of our workshop.

The lunch after the second session and the coffee breaks during the workshop will of course catered for you.

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let Arabella Cortese or Giulia Fioratto know, at least a week in advance.


Travel expenses

The project will cover the travel expenses (economy class) as well as the agreed nights of accommodation and the official dinner for invited speakers. Please book early to get a reasonably priced flight. Please make your own travel arrangements to/from Regensburg and keep all the original receipts. After your stay, your travel expenses will be reimbursed.
