Opening Hours

Exams in the reading room Law 1

Due to exams, the reading room Law 1 will be closed from Wednesday, 08.03.2023, up to and including Wednesday, 15.03.2023.
It will be closed in the morning and will reopen for general use at approximately 14:00.
On the weekend, the reading room will be open at the usual times.

Exams in the reading room Philosophicum 1

Due to exams, the reading room Philosophicum 1 will be closed in the morning on the following days:

• Tuesday, 14.03.2023
• Thursday, 16.03.2023
• Friday, 17.03.2023

The reading room will reopen for general use at approximately 13:30.

Due to construction works, the reading room Mathematics will be closed from 08.02.2023 until further notice.

As of 20.02.2023 monographs can be ordered via a form and borrowed for two weeks.
Collection and return are possible via the contact-free lending area.

Reading Rooms

University members (UR staff and students) can borrow books from the reading rooms during the entire opening hours.
For external users, weekend lending is possible for reading room holdings. It is valid from Friday 8:00 until Monday 12:00.

The University Library is closed on public holidays, Holy Saturday, Pentecost Saturday, 24. December and 31. December.
On Shrove Tuesday it is closed from 12:00.

Deviating opening hours are announced by notices and on the website.
