Audio digitisation

All students and employees of the University of Regensburg may have analogue audio media digitised free of charge for scientific purposes in the MultiMediaCentre. The MultiMediaCentre digitises the following formats:

• audio cassettes, dictation cassettes, microcassettes
• Magnetic audio tapes with playback speeds of 4.75 cm/s, 9.5 cm/s, 19 cm/s and 38 cm/s in 2-track or 4-track recording technology
• Records (vinyl or shellac) and sound foils in the speeds 33 RPM, 45 RPM and 78 RPM

If you would like to take advantage of our audio digitisation service, please bring the original media and a storage medium of your choice to the MultiMediaCentre (Central Library, rooms 519) or contact us in advance by telephone (0941 943 -1606/ -1607/ -1608/ -1553) or by e-mail (mmz@ur.de).
