General information on studying

Over 21,000 students are currently enrolled at the University of Regensburg. The modern campus of the UR provides its students with excellent facilities to pursue their studies or research. Dedicated, openminded teachers, who are preeminent scholars in their fields, lead the way to academic success via well-structured, yet flexible educational programs. The faculty of law was founded in 1967 and is one of eleven faculties at the University of Regensburg. It offers its 2,500 undergraduate and LL.M. students an extensive and first-class law program with outstanding service throughout the entire study period. The university’s language center offers a large variety of German language courses throughout the semester and intensive preparatory language courses at all levels.
