Master Ecology, Evolution and Conservation

The MSc program "Ecology, Evolution and Conservation (EEC)" at the Faculty of Biology and Preclinical Medicine provides a broad, science-oriented education in ecology, evolution and conservation.

Why study the EEC master: This program is designed for students who wish to specialize in organismal biology with a focus on conservation, experimental and field ecology, and evolution. The program has a dual focus on research and applied work, and therefore you will be able to qualify both for consecutive PhDs in these fields, as well as for work in the state administration or NGOs working in the field of ecology/conservation.

Who will be your instructors? The programme is mainly organized by the following working groups:

Academic advisors: Prof. Dr. Florian Hartig (ecology), Prof. Dr. Christoph Reisch (conservation), Prof. Dr. Joachim Ruther (evolution)

Programme coordinator: Prof. Florian Hartig
